I feel so honored I got to be a part of this lovely couple’s wedding day. As I mentioned in their engagement session, I met Jess & Mercedes at Shawn & Kathleen’s wedding and we hit it off instantly! These two had one of the most intimate and heartfelt weddings I have ever attended, it seriously oozed romantic vibes – swoon!

J&M spend tons of time in the forest, foraging for wild foods and enjoying nature so Cheakamus Centre was 100% the perfect venue for them. They decided to change it up from the regular ceremony spot and say their vows in a tiny clearing in the forest surrounded by a few friends and family. Unsurprisingly nature played a huge roll in this wedding from the hand foraged greenery bouquets, crowns and boutonnieres, to the Pinterest worthy botany inspired centerpieces, right down to the invites and the engraved wedding band.
